Following the Year 5 lantern making workshop recently, St Martin's children and families took part in the Light Up Dover event, where we paraded through Dover with our lanterns, following the incredible giant animal lanterns, made by talented artists. Organisers, Future Foundry, have incorporated more wildlife into the procession this year, working with illustrator and designer Greg Stobbs to raise awareness about animals from the Kentish countryside. It may have been extremely cold, but it was also an extremely enjoyable evening for all involved!
